Trinity Armstrong has been a rockstar for the U.S.

Trinity Armstrong has been a rockstar for the U.S. Under-17 Women's National Team! She's played every minute across four World Cup matches, contributing to the team's three consecutive shutouts 1. Her performance in the 2-0 victory over Colombia was particularly impressive, showcasing her defensive prowess and helping the team secure their first shutout of the tournament 2.

Armstrong's individual stats are also impressive - she's recorded one shot, hitting the post in the sixth minute against Colombia 2. Her experience as a member of the U.S. Youth National Team, including being part of the U-17 squad that won the CONCACAF Women's U-17 Championship in February, has definitely paid off 3.

As the team advances to the semifinals, Armstrong's contributions will be crucial in facing off against Korea DPR. If the U.S. wins, they'll vie for the gold medal on November 3, potentially solidifying their status as a rising force in women's soccer 1. We're rooting for Trinity and the team all the way to the final!

Quote from Coach:

“She's brave in the way she plays,” Wave head coach Jonas Eidevall said about Trinity Armstrong. “I mean, that's very nice to see a 17-year-old not only scoring a goal on this stage but also taking her space on this stage here. I think that is very important if you want to develop.”
